Samantha Cuffy - Week 4 Analysis

 I am responding to the reading about uncomfortable work. This work was a bit uncomfortable for me to write because I don't like thinking about my own mortality and the mortality of those around me who share the American label of being black. I channeled my anger from the killings that have been happening the past couple of years and most recently the famous ones from a couple of weeks ago because it relates to my own life. The limitations are that this is one sided. It only speaks from the perspective of the ones slain, not their murderers. I also see these killing as unjust so they are all made to be innocent in my eyes.  What led your decision-making about them? I used repetition and a controlled format in order to try to nail my point.  I learned I learned I like using repetition a lot.
