Vivienne Kim Week 5 analysis

When I read the reading, the way the author used bullet points really reminded me of what I said last class. How essays were somewhat easier in a sense because there's a sense of focus in what point you're trying to drive, and how open-ended poems and such can actually be more frustrating.

So reading the author's work Bluets with the way she organized it despite it being thought flowing helped a lot. Incorporating that style into my opinion of what my favorite colors were was an interesting experience for me. I used three of my favorite colors, putting it in a story perspective in third point of view (I always usually write this way, a bit of distance actually helps in putting things into perspective and I'm just better writing third POV instead of first).

It was interesting to lay out my whole life like this, including my parents influence in my love for colors, and how I've changed during that period of time. Bluet's style I think in her narrative suited me a lot, and I actually really like how it turned out.
