Since we didn’t have a reading this week we had to do something random to our responses last week. The themes and concerns from the reading I responses too was what I said last week, it was to recreate the way Maggie Nelson wrote Bluets. How I randomly edited this piece was to put the word fuck you after ever passage. I believe this piece showed the anger, or regret I had throughout the whole writing, and I think with fuck you throughout this really makes this hit home. For limitations, with writing I feel there isn’t many. You can really express what you want to say very powerfully using words. How I came up with my new edit was the anger I saw when I reread my work. Hearing fuck you after ever passage really flowed for me, if I thought of my anger from the beginning. What I really learned by doing this is honestly just how you can show so much emotion through writing. Last week I wrote how this was very therapeutic and i’m a strong believer that writing is very therapeutic. It only you and your thoughts, everyone should express what their really feeling even if its a feeling you may not of thought you had.
